What We Do — Empowering People Through Practical Action

SEO's work covers several areas designed to address social, economic and environmental challenges affecting communities.

Education & Skills Development

We provide education and training aimed at increasing knowledge, practical skills and people's ability to improve their livelihoods — including theoretical and practical training for people with special needs.

Youth Empowerment

We work with young people, including unemployed youth and students, promoting opportunities that help them improve their livelihoods and providing spaces to exchange ideas and discuss development.

Women Empowerment

We promote women's participation in development and productive activities, creating opportunities for women — particularly those living in difficult circumstances.

Children & Vulnerable Groups

We support vulnerable children, including children living in difficult circumstances and children without adequate parental support, promoting educational opportunities from early education upwards.

Support for Persons with Disabilities

We recognise persons with disabilities among the groups requiring support and inclusion. Our approach focuses on education, empowerment, opportunities and community participation.

Environmental Conservation

We promote community awareness on protecting and conserving the environment, and recognise the importance of clean and safe energy for health and environmental protection.

Entrepreneurship & Economic Empowerment

We provide entrepreneurship education that contributes to economic self-reliance and establish projects that create opportunities for young people and women in vulnerable circumstances.

Mining Education & Support

We aim to provide education to small- and large-scale miners and support them with appropriate mining equipment as part of our community empowerment activities.

Our Approach

Education, Participation and Empowerment

Our approach is built around three important areas that shape every program and project we deliver.

Educate

Providing knowledge and awareness that helps people understand challenges, opportunities and possible solutions.
